Nasal Sprays

Step By Step Guide


1. Blow nose gently
2. Shake well and hold the bottle upright
3. Remove the cap
4. Place the index and middle finger on top and thumb at the base of the bottle
5. Close one nostril with your finger
6. Insert the nozzle into one nostril
7. Point the nozzle towards the corner of the eye and away from the midline of the nose
8. slightly tilt the head forward
9. Press the pump down and breathe in through the nose
10. Wipe the nozzle
11. Replace the cap

Counselling

  • Gently blow the nose before using a nasal spray
  • Prime the dose for each new spray and/or not used over 2 weeks
  • If using with any saline sprays or irrigations, use it afterwards

    • Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean the nozzle with a dry tissue paper
  • The cap could be washed with warm soapy water

    • Storage
  • Keep below 25°C
  • Do not leave in a car, on a window sill or in the bathroom
