Step By Step Guide


1. Check the dose counter
2. Slide cover down until a click is heard
3. Breathe out away from the inhaler
4. Put your mouth around the mouthpiece
5. Breathe in deeply and steadily
6. Hold the breath for about 5 seconds or as long as comfortable
7. Remove the inhaler from the mouth
8. Breathe out gently away from the inhaler
9. Close the cover

Counselling

  • Check the dose counter to ensure enough doses until next supply
  • Make sure the inhaler is not expired
  • Do not shake the inhaler
  • Do not cover the air vent
  • Rinse mouth with water and spit out after using a corticosteroid inhaler

    • Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Clean the mouthpiece with a dry tissue paper
  • These inhalers must stay dry and should NEVER be washed with water
  • Replace the inhaler when the dose counter window shows 0
