Step By Step Guide


1. Remove the cap
2. Tilt the mouthpiece to open
3. Place the capsule from blister to the chamber
4. Close mouthpiece until it clicks
5. Press side piercing buttons to punch the capsule
6. Breathe out away from the inhaler
7. Put your mouth around the mouthpiece
8. Breathe in deeply and steadily so capsule vibrates
9. Hold the breath for about 5 seconds or as long as comfortable
10. Remove the inhaler from the mouth
11. Breathe out gently away from the inhaler
12. Close the mouthpiece and cap

Counselling

  • Punch the capsule once only
  • Replace with a new capsule each time
  • Rinse mouth with water and spit out after using a corticosteroid inhaler

    • Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Clean the mouthpiece with a dry tissue paper
  • These inhalers must stay dry and should NEVER be washed with water
  • Replace the inhaler when the dose counter window shows 0
