Step By Step Guide


1. Check the dose counter
2. Slide open the cover using the thumb grip
3. Without shaking the inhaler, slide the lever until it clicks while keeping the device horizontal
4. Breathe out away from the inhaler
5. Place your mouth around the mouthpiece
6. Breathe in deeply and steadily
7. Hold the breath for about 5 seconds or as long as comfortable
8. Remove the inhaler from the mouth
9. Breathe out gently away from the inhaler
10. Close the cover to click shut

Counselling

  • Check the dose counter to ensure enough doses until next supply
  • Make sure the inhaler is not expired
  • Do not shake the inhaler
  • Make sure a dose is loaded before inhalation
  • Rinse mouth with water and spit out after using a corticosteroid inhaler

    • Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Clean the mouthpiece with a dry tissue paper
  • These inhalers must stay dry and should NEVER be washed with water
  • Replace the inhaler when the dose counter window shows 0
